Long Taking the Survey: Process Flow
  • You must have a login account and have successfully logged into the website to see or take the survey.
  • You can preview the list of questions for any survey from the main query listing by clicking on the Preview link.
  • Surveys can only be taken between the open date and the close date.
  • The survey questions must be answered in order. (If you hit the back button of the browser, you can enter new a answer to the previous question but you will not see your prior response... not recommended.)
  • You do not have to answer every question, you can just hit the Next button at the bottom of the page to skip it.
  • There is no time limit on how much time you have to complete the survey (but it must be complete by the close date).
  • You do not need to complete the survey at one sitting. You may pause at any time.
  • You can return to any incomplete survey at any time before the close date, and it will resume at the first unanswered question.
  • Questions are grouped under like topic groupings or sections.
  • Each question offered will show headers of the section and the question within that section.
  • Survey results will be available to anyone logged in after the close date of the survey.
  • Survey results are a summary report and have no identification of who answered what how.
Question Types
  • Ranking: For questions that Rank options, imagine stacking the options in order of preference or importance. Only one option gets to be the most important or preferred (rank = 1), only one gets to be the second most important or preferred ( rank = 2 ), etc. If the rank says top 4 or top 9 it will only accept the top 4 or top 9 of all the choices.
  • Rating: For questions that Rate options, you can give a number of "goodness" or "preference" to each option independently. Low number (1) is worst or least preferred, high number is best or most preferred. Questions can ask for a rating of 1-4 or 1-9. You do not need to offer a rating to all options.
  • Select One Of Many: Choose exactly one choice from list of options.
  • Select One Or Several Of Many: Choose as many of the options as you would like.
